


19 January 2022 – London
I joined a protest outside the KRG office in London to speak out against dictatorship, arrests, corruption, and injustice in Kurdistan. We raised our voices for freedom, especially for teachers, journalists, and ordinary people suffering under unfair rule.


5 December 2022 – Birmingham
On this day, I stood in front of the BBC office in Birmingham to remember Kawa Garmyani, a journalist killed for telling the truth. I protested against the power and crimes of the PUK and KDP families who continue to silence brave voices.


22 January 2023 – Manchester
In Manchester, I joined a protest against corruption, injustice, and the arrest of activists in Kurdistan. As someone who believes in free speech and human rights, I stood proudly for those who are silenced back home.


17 February 2023 – Birmingham
I took part in a protest to remember the youth of Sulaimani who were killed on 17 February. We came together to speak out against the crimes of those in power and to remind the world that their blood was not shed in vain.


5 March 2023 – Birmingham
On the anniversary of the 1991 uprising, I marched through Birmingham to show that even after 32 years, we are still ruled by the same corrupt families. There’s still no freedom in Kurdistan, and I protested to demand real change.


1 August 2023 – Manchester
Outside the Iraqi Embassy in Manchester, I raised my voice for the prisoners of Badinan and journalist Sherwan Sherwani, who was unfairly jailed. I stood against the dictatorship of the PUK and KDP and for the freedom of all Kurds.


13 August 2023 – Birmingham & London
I helped organise a memorial for journalist Wadat Hussein, who was kidnapped and murdered. Just like Kawa Garmyani, he was silenced for exposing the truth. We stood together to honour his name and demand justice.


16 October 2023 – Birmingham
I marched peacefully through Birmingham to speak out against what happened in 2017, when Kurdish leaders handed over our land to militias. So many young people died, and I protested to hold those in power — especially the PUK and KDP — responsible.
5 December 2023 – Birmingham
With the Dakok Organisation, I joined a powerful protest to remember Kawa Garmyani and Shukri Rekani — two brave martyrs of free speech. We used our voices to make sure theirs would never be forgotten.




17 February 2024 – Birmingham
I joined a protest in Birmingham to remember the martyrs of February 17 and to stand against the Talabani and Barzani families, who continue to kill and imprison young Kurds. I protested for justice and in memory of the victims.


5 May 2024 – Birmingham
We gathered to remember Sardasht Osman, a journalist killed by the PUK and KDP mafias. He died for telling the truth. I stood with others to honour his bravery and demand justice.


21 July 2024 – Birmingham
I stood in protest against the murder of Sorani Mama Hama and the ongoing Turkish occupation of Kurdish land. We raised our voices to say: the blood of our people is not forgotten, and the crimes committed against us will never be accepted.


16 October 2024 – Birmingham
On the anniversary of the 16/10/2017 betrayal, I protested to remember when 51% of Kurdistan was handed to the Iraqi army. We stood against the Kurdish leaders who allowed this to happen.


14 November 2024 – Birmingham
I protested with Dakok against the fraud and theft committed during the 20/10 elections. The PUK and KDP, with help from foreign powers, continue to loot our country while silencing our people. We stood together to demand justice and truth.


27 December 2024 – Birmingham
I attended a protest to honour the martyrdom of teacher Hersh Omar. He was murdered for his beliefs and his truth. We gathered to send a clear message: the Talabani and Barzani mafias will not silence us.


5 February 2025 – Birmingham
I protested outside the UN office in support of teachers in Sulaimani who went on a hunger strike for nine days. Their sacrifice showed the depth of injustice in Kurdistan’s education system. I stood with them because when they lose their voice, we must raise ours.


12 February 2025 – Birmingham
I joined this protest to support Kurdish teachers on a 15-day hunger strike. They stood for justice and dignity, and we raised our voices against the KRG’s silence. It was a powerful day of unity and resistance.


22 April 2025 – Birmingham
With Freedom Road Organization, I marked the anniversary of the first Kurdish political group. We protested against dictatorship and reminded the world that our fight for freedom is still alive.


4 May 2025 – Birmingham
We honoured Sardasht Osman, killed for exposing the Barzani family. I stood in his memory, demanding justice for all silenced voices. His truth lives on through us.


19 May 2025 – London
As part of Road Azadi, I protested outside the Iraqi embassy against illegal militias. We submitted a petition demanding justice and the dismantling of these dangerous armed groups.


30 June 2025 – London
Outside the UK Parliament, I protested with Regay Azadi against the handover of public land to militias. We called on the UN and UK to stop the takeover of our land by force.


14 July 2025 – Birmingham
We marched to say “Stop killing women.” I stood with Regay Azadi to demand justice and safety for all women in Kurdistan who continue to suffer in silence.


22 July 2025 – Manchester
In Manchester, I protested with Freedom Road to honour Hassan Rahman, killed by the PKK. We called for justice and protection for all activists and journalists in Kurdistan.


4 August 2025– London & Manchester
I joined Freedom Road’s protest outside the Iraqi embassy to demand the release of Sherwan Sherwani and Umed Baroshki, jailed for speaking the truth. We handed in a letter calling for justice.


18 August 2025 – Birmingham
I protested with Freedom Road Organization against the Kurdish leaders who steal public land for their own gain. We marched to demand justice and sent letters to the Iraqi Consulate and European Union, asking them to take action against this corruption.
